3 Habits for Making Regular Spa Appointments

The fresh start of the new year is always a great time for intention setting. What are your plans for 2026?

A few of our clients at The Village Spa have already said their goal is to be more consistent with spa visits.

If setting a habit of monthly appointments aligns with your goals, here are some pointers on what we’ve seen work the best for including a facial or massage in your wellness journey.

Plan on Consistent Treatments ✔

Consistency brings better results, whether it’s related to your skin or your body.

Monthly facials can improve skin barrier health, hydration, and texture. Regular massage can improve circulation, increase mobility, and reduce stress.

→ Get on a treatment plan with your esthetician or massage therapist. They can recommend the appropriate spa services based on your individual goals.

Create a Ritual Around It

Choose a specific time each month: the first Friday, the day after payday, or mid-month reset. Anchoring it to something predictable removes decision-making.

→ You can also create a whole “self-care ritual” around the appointment. Pair your facial or massage with something enjoyable like taking a walk or grabbing a drink at a cafe. Your brain will associate the day of your reoccurring appointment with activities that reset and soothe the soul.

Book at Checkout ✔

Follow through with your intention by scheduling appointment(s) ahead of time.

Our clients who make their next appointment immediately at checkout find the most success with making a facial or massage a part of their routine.

→ If you love online booking and need to see your calendar to compare at home, try booking multiple appointments in advance.
