Using a technique called microblading, our artist places pigment directly into your skin with precise hair-stroke lines to achieve your ideal eyebrows. To perfect the brows after healing, we follow up with a touch-up appointment 4 to 6 weeks after your initial appointment.
Once your eyebrows have healed, your brows will be virtually maintenance-free. Results will last for up to 1-3 years, depending on aftercare and skin type.
Microblading can have huge impact for people who:
- Lead active lifestyles and find brow makeup doesn’t wear well.

Our Microblading Artist
Hello! My name is Elizabeth, and I’m a licensed esthetician at The Village Spa. I’ve enjoyed drawing portraits for years and always loved focusing on the eyes. My passion for eyebrows began when I first picked up my brow pencil and mimicked hairstrokes to get a full brow.
Not everyone has the patience or artistry to draw on their brows everyday, so I want to give our clients the brows they desire through the latest technique—microblading.
Thorough training is absolutely crucial to ensure quality results with microblading. I was trained by Brow Design International, which has a reputation as the leading company in The United States for microblading training.
With guidance from seasoned microblading trainers, I learned the best practices for how to create a customize a pattern based off the client’s own natural hair growth. This meticulous method results in the most beautiful brows for clients.
How do you determine the best shape for my brows?
During your free 15-min consultation, I will discuss your concerns with your eyebrows as well as your overall desired look. I will then analyze your face and map out a customized shape.
Will microblading hurt?
Since pain tolerance varies from person to person, it is hard to say what your individual experience will feel like. For your comfort, I put a numbing solution on your brows during the session. Clients often say there’s next to no pain or minimal discomfort.
What if I need more strokes after my first appointment?
Every skin type reacts to microblading differently, so sometimes certain areas of the brow will take to the pigment better than other areas. That’s why the microblading appointment includes the touch-up appointment to ensure clients’ brows are retouched to be completely filled and flawless.
What is the aftercare like for microblading?
During your first appointment we will go over the best aftercare practices, which include avoiding sun exposure and perspiration to get the best healed results.
Are there any health conditions that pose a risk?
Yes, for the safety of our clients, I do not work on those who are pregnant or nursing or individuals who have certain skin diseases.
The following candidates may be worked on if the appropriate period following the condition or use of product has subsided:
- Botox treatment (after 2 weeks)
- Use of acutance, isotretinoin, or other retinoid (after 1 year)
- Sunburn on the face (after affected area has cleared up)
Are microblading and tattooing the same thing?
Although microblading is a form of tattooing, there are important differences to note with the two practices. Microblading is semi-permanent; whereas, tattooing deposits ink deeper into the skin and is permanent. Tattoo artists use ink, which may fade to unfavorable blue-green colors. With microblading, I use a pigment instead, which will fade into a lighter version of the original color.
What is the healing process like?
The healing process takes about 4-6 weeks and differs for everyone. During the first week, the brows will appear dark and start to scab. Approximately 30-40% of the color will fade during this time, so a touch-up appointment is required.
How long can I expect the results to last?
Depending on your skin type, sun exposure, and use of exfoliants, your results from microblading can last between 1-3 years. The pigment will begin to fade within 12 months, so we recommend yearly touch-ups.
